All Access Boston Harbor

All Access Boston Harbor is a series of free day trips for area youth groups and community organizations to Georges and Spectacle Islands in The Boston Harbor Islands National Park. Participants learn about the marine environment and the maritime history of Boston and the Harbor Islands from Boston Harbor historian David Coffin and Save the Harbor’s marine educators. The program will alternate weeks between Georges and Spectacle Islands.

For many participants, All Access is a maiden voyage to a destination in Boston Harbor. We hope that Boston Harbor will soon become as familiar to these youth as their own front yard!

What to Expect
Each trip begins dockside at Bank of America Pavilion, where Boston story teller David Coffin tells stories and sings songs that bring to life patriots and pirates from the Harbor's past. Armed with a little knowledge and a sense of adventure, the children board the vessel Virginia C. II of the A.C. Cruise Line. Captain Al and crew set sail on a half-day voyage to either Georges Island or Spectacle Island. Once on the Islands, the children enjoy a picnic lunch and spectacular views of their city as they explore historic Fort Warren at Georges or enjoy the swimming beach at Spectacle.
