Summer Program Assistant
Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is seeking a Summer Program Assistant to support our high school and college aged summer staff in our nine week Youth Jobs & Leadership Program. This position is for an individual who has experience managing schedules, handling logistics, working with young adults, and communicating across multiple platforms.
Research Senior Harbor Educator
Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is seeking two Research Senior Harbor Educators (SHEs) to lead, support, and motivate our high school aged summer staff in our Youth Jobs & Leadership Program, specifically within our Boston Harbor Research Project. This position is for a self-motivated individual with experience mentoring teens and young adults with a background in marine ecology or environmental science research.
Senior Harbor Educator
Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is seeking five Senior Harbor Educators to lead, support, and motivate our college and high school aged summer staff in our Youth Jobs & Leadership Program. This position is for a self-motivated individual with experience working with youth and mentoring teens and young adults. Under the direction of the Program Director and Coordinator, the Senior Harbor Educators will support the daily operations and enrichment for our summer programming.
Lead Harbor Explorer
Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is seeking college aged (19-22) individuals to be a part of our Youth Jobs & Leadership Program. This position is for a self-motivated individual with experience working in a team environment, has leadership skills, and enjoys completing projects in group settings. Under the direction of the Program Director, Program Coordinator and Senior Harbor Educators, Lead Harbor Explorers (LHE’s) will support the daily operations and enrichment for our outdoor summer STEAM programming.
Junior Program Assistant
Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is seeking high school aged youth (14-19 years old) to be a part of our Youth Jobs & Leadership Program. This position is for a motivated individual with experience working in a team environment, developing leadership skills, strong communication skills, and completing projects in group settings. Under the direction of the Program Director, Senior Harbor Educators and Lead Harbor Explorers, Junior Program Assistants (JPAs) will support the daily operations and enrichment for our summer programming as well as spend 3 weeks immersed in a research question of their choosing.
