Join us for a free, intergenerational community gathering at Carson Beach as we come together to remember, reflect, and honor the histories carried by our waters.

Through storytelling, Wampanoag Stomp Dancing, Afroboricua Bomba, live music, guided movement, and a collective Wade-In, participants are invited to honor the legacy of the 1975 Carson Beach Wade-In while exploring the interconnected histories of Indigenous stewardship, Black resistance, migration, belonging, and community.

Together, we will:

🌊 Hear stories that connect us to this shoreline and the people who have gathered here across generations.

🪘Experience Wampanoag Stomp Dancing, Bomba, and live music as expressions of resilience, culture, and joy.

💙 Participate in a collective Wade-In, reflecting on the power of communities who have claimed space, dignity, and belonging through peaceful action.

Whether you come to listen, move, reflect, or simply be in community, all are welcome!

What to bring: Comfortable clothing, sun protection, beach chair, and, if you’d like to join the Wade-In, clothes that you don’t mind getting wet.
