"Flavor by the Shore: Beachside BBQ" is a vibrant event designed to bring together Boston’s Black millennials and young professionals with the local Dorchester community by activating Tenean Beach for a day of food, games, and cultural connection.

We plan to feature delicious offerings from Black-owned vendors like Fresh Food Generation, known for their farm-to-plate Caribbean-inspired comfort food, and Slushy Lady Boston, serving refreshing non-alcoholic frozen treats.

The event will include a mix of interactive activities, such as tabletop games (spades, dominoes, and card games) and outdoor games (volleyball, cornhole, tug-of-war, and water balloon toss). A live DJ will keep the energy high with a mix of Afrobeat, R&B, and hip-hop music, encouraging a fun and lively atmosphere.
