Abilities Dance is going to premiere original dance and music works centering on beach history, climate justice, and community celebration in nature at Constitution Beach. For the first time this performance will be dancer-led, so dancers will take the role of choreographers to build pieces with our core dancers and contractor dancers, Dara Capley, Mira Goksel, and Claire Lane, hired specifically for this performance.

There will also be live music with original composition by our composer Robert Gross to help elevate the movement and draw bystanders into the work. We will make the work accessible so we will be recording our performance to add accessible elements that are harder to do live, such as audio descriptions and ASL, then provide it for free online so those across the Commonwealth and beyond can see the liveliness of our beaches.

There will be two showings. The first will be at 2:00 pm and the second will be at 3:30 pm.
