Hull Lifesaving Museum Harbor Illumination

  • Nantasket Beach Hull Shore Drive Hull, MA, 02045 United States (map)

Every summer, on the last Saturday in July, Hull continues a cherished tradition as the sun sets over Hull Bay.

A thousand flares ignite along the shoreline, forming a glowing necklace of light that transforms the waterfront into a breathtaking spectacle.

For 30 mesmerizing minutes, the flickering flames create a serene, almost otherworldly interlude. A lone bagpiper is rowed along the shore, his haunting melody completing this unforgettable moment.

For 16 years, Illumination Night has been a beloved event.

This year, the Hull Lifesaving Museum will once again light up the shore, inviting all to celebrate community, beauty, and maritime history.

Organized by our Better Beaches partners at Hull Lifesaving Museum.
